It is based on our knowledge of building similar systems for some of the largest curtain retailers in the industy, over 20 years.
Our CUBL software simplifies the complex process of setting up a website selling made to measure curtain, blinds, and related products. CUBL provides accuruate costs to users and is infinitely configurable.
Manufacturers who do not need the website front end can also use it for in house management of the costing and manufacturing process.
Why did we create CUBL?
We received many enquiries from people wanting to sell bespoke curtains online. However the costs for a good site could be prohibitive as creating a website that calculates making up costs accurately is complicated and requires bespoke development.
E-commerce platforms like Magento, Shopify and Woo-commerce do not have these solutions out of the box or via plugins and creating bespoke solutions is very expensive that’s assuming you can find a competent developer to do it for you.
That’s why we developed CUBL to simplify the process of setting up a bespoke site and to significantly reduce the cost.

How much does it cost?
We know that costs for websites can be prohibitive which is why we have developed solutions for all budgets. As a guide, you should be able to start selling your curtains for less than £5,000, sometimes even for less than £1,000. This is complemented by a licence fee that will give you access to software updates. If you want to add further modules later on that is easily done. Every website is will have slightly different requirements so we quote each job on its own requirements.
How long does it take?
The whole process should take less than two months. Your main tasks are in preparing fabric imagery and supplying your price calculation methodology, unless you want to use our own default calculations.
How do we calculate prices for curtains and blinds?
Every business calculates their making up costs differently. We have some default pricing calculators that you can use or we can create a solution for you. Additional costs may apply for complex calculators and integration with 3rd party software.
Renders
It’s a great conversion tool to enable your users to see your fabrics on real curtains rather than just plain cut outs. We offer a render creation service which will show your fabrics how they would really be.
The technical bit
CUBL is a hosted solution. When we create a website for you, we will be hosting and supporting your website on our own servers. You do not need to worry or get involved in anything technical. Everything is taken care for you. Our servers and websites are optimised for speed.
SEO
When we built our software we started with the SEO requirements. SEO is one of the main ingredients to enable you to grow your business online. So many sites are built without any attention to SEO and therefore fail at the first hurdle. We have been developing websites and software for over 23 years and so know SEO requirements inside out.
